REAL ID
Starting May 7, 2025, TSA requires a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or other form of acceptable ID, like a passport or U.S. military ID, to fly within the U.S. A REAL ID-compliant card generally has a star at the top, and an enhanced driver’s license has a U.S. flag. If you’re unsure, contact your state driver’s license agency on how to get a REAL ID.
If you do not have an acceptable ID, you can expect delays and additional screening.
